No big pitch decks or vague promises. We begin with a conversation about your product, your customers, and the visuals you currently rely on. From there we map out a clear sequence of steps, so you know what happens each week and what we need from you to keep things moving.
Every brand starts with a conversation, not a contract. We keep the process loose enough to follow the work, but structured enough that you always know what happens next. These are the five stages most of our projects go through.
We start with a casual 30-minute call about your product, your customers, and what feels off with your current visuals. If you have existing packaging, menus, or social profiles, we’ll ask you to share them beforehand. No formal presentation, just a honest look at where things stand.
If we decide to move forward, we run a half-day workshop (in person in Cape Town or over video) to define your brand’s tone, key messages, and visual references. You’ll leave with a clear direction and a shared moodboard that guides all the design work that follows.
Our designers translate the strategy into two or three distinct visual routes. For packaging projects, we print physical mockups so you can see how the label sits on the bottle or box. You pick a direction, and we refine it based on your feedback.
Once the identity is locked, we plan a photoshoot that captures your product in real settings — a coffee roastery, a bakery counter, a shop shelf. We handle art direction, styling, and a shot list that gives you a library of images for your website and social channels.
You receive all final files — logos, packaging artwork, social templates, and a simple brand guide that explains how to use the system without breaking it. We also walk you through the files so your team feels comfortable using them independently.
Many clients stay on for content calendars, short-form video edits, or quarterly check-ins to keep the brand consistent. We also run monthly portfolio review sessions for junior designers — a separate track from client work, but part of how we stay connected to the local creative community.

Our approach to brandingOnce a project wraps up, we don't disappear. Whether you need a quick question answered about your brand files or want to plan the next season of content, there's a straightforward way to reach us.
We keep communication simple and human. No ticket systems or automated replies, just a real person who knows your account and your brand.
